Aninwaa has a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and is currently acquiring her Masters in Development Studies, with a concentration in Cities Mobilities and Spaces and a minor in Gender Studies. She previously interned at the Institute of Humanitarian Affairs, Fordham University, and the African Women’s Development Fund. She has always been interested in humanitarian work as well as tackling inequality that exists between sexes.

By interning at the Gender Studies and Human Rights Documentation Center, she plans on getting experience working within an NGO and learning how NGOs operate. She will be helping around in any capacity, such as assisting with current projects and working with the Communication Team.
